About

I'm Tomás Di Loreto, a data engineer from Buenos Aires. I design and build end-to-end data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure: metadata-driven ingestion, lakehouse modeling and semantic models and dashboards in Power BI.

Before moving into data I coordinated an infrastructure and operations team, managing clients and projects. That background shapes how I build: platforms meant to be operated and maintained, with the business user at the center.

I'm currently finishing a University Diploma in Data Science and Advanced Analytics and an Associate Degree in Programming, both at UTN, on my way to a BSc in Data Science. This blog collects what I learn along the way: real projects, real numbers, and the decisions behind them.

You can find my work on GitHub and reach me onLinkedIn. Off-hours: drums, fútbol and pádel.
